Lake Shore Residence

Historic Tudor with modern details.

Client Type: Private Residence

This was our home in Evanston. We had an opportunity to completely renovate a classic Tudor home directly across the street from Lake Michigan. The home was built in 1926 and had been renovated multiple times over the years. Our work included reconfiguring walls to increase the size of the kitchen and re-orient the layout from a north/south to an east/west orientation and basically increasing the size of the room by approximately 1/3 the size. We also were able to reconfigure the Primary Suite to create a large dressing room and new bathroom. We also renovated the rest of the bathrooms within the home and added all new lighting and finishes throughout the home. The crown jewel was the Bohemian Crystal chandelier located in the main stair hall.
